Beneath the Blue is an abstract series inspired by prolonged observation of the sea and its ever-changing states beneath the surface. Created over several months of studio experimentation, the works explore texture, depth, and movement through layered materials that echo the natural rhythm of water.

Using sculptural foam forms combined with acrylic paint and resin, each piece captures a moment of flow — from quiet, sunlit shallows to deeper, more contemplative waters. The series reflects an intimate dialogue between light, colour, and motion, inviting the viewer to slow down and experience the sea not as a landscape, but as a feeling.
